WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR MEN TO SHOW EMOTIONS?????

Just because someone has lived a number of years does not make them a man.
A true man or woman is someone who has matured to the point that they can control and express themselves in responsable ways. They stand up for what they believe. They say what they do. They do what they say.
Not overly synical or dramatic.

They might fall off the precipice into the big unknown abyss of vulnerability accompanied by a partner they don't trust with their emotions. Unknowns are scary. I left a copy of "Men are from Mars" on the nightstand for my guy several years ago. He read it. He studied it. He asked me about it. It was a great tool to foster a secure environment for him to learn to open up more and trust me with his emotions. After twenty years he's almost fully trained (lol) and a keeper for sure :); ▶ Reply to This

Think about the men you are attracted to. Strong, self assured, and many more qualities that are hard to accomplish if your emotions are at the surface. How fast would you dump that guy if he started asking you if his jeans made his butt look huge. You'd just run the other way muttering "Pansy" under your breath.; ▶ Reply to This
