well.. at least like the characters he portrays. He's actually a pretty good guy. My mother lives fairly close to him, and he's been a continuing life force for that community, very giving and a true community member.

For me, it's not entirely about feeling safe. There are only a few, like 1 or 2, women that I ever feel have a good reason to know my current emotional state. Those would be the women I care most about, and who's lives might actually be affected by me at one point or the other.

When I show emotion, the response is great. The problem is....some want it all the time! Isn't once a year enough?

We write songs about it so we don't really have to say it directly to them. It's kind of like casting our feelings to the air, and getting them out that way.

Saw Seals and Croft in concert, met them backstage. Croft had the KNARLIEST nail's I've ever seen! Been 30 years and I* still remember those hooks!

Its nice when I hear a song that reflects a feeling I have or have had. Its quite validating and comforting to know I'm not the only one who feels or has felt that way. Its why I love music.
