We endured eight year's of (Falling Down) can we not at least give this President the satisfaction of restoring our integrity . He is going to make miscalculations and step on some toes but all and all he will give us our right to lift our heads high again . We will never be the most looked up to Nation again.
We have been asleep too long , and we still are. We still think we are not at the mercy of the terrorists , we still drive SUV's. WE still pay the CEO copious amounts of $$$ , we are still being devoured by the mistakes of the last 8 years. We are a nation of sheep....

Well my friend its' time to wake up and shed those expensive habits of yours and see the light . I'm a gay man still waiting to be liberated , but I cannot fight for my country or marry the one that I call my better half , you have made us the target of your hate ...waiting , waiting , waiting ....

The only Right I am aware of that you don't have, is the right to marry another man. Having been divorced by two women, I think you should count your blessings.
Then you have a closed mind . And I for one do not intend to get married , but I want the right to do it if I want. And I want the right to be in the Armed Forces and not have to hide .
What's sad about that? That's an honest impression -- based on the fact that GAYS insist on making their private lives a public issue.

Nosepickers Unite! Society is denying us our dignity. Come out of your closets and into the restaurants of the world!
Josie,
I suspect that I'm not the only straight person who has made that observation. Believe it or not, this was an attempt at dialogue between a straight and a gay.

Without honest dialogue, there can never be understanding. Without understanding, there can never be acceptance. Shall we simply remain intolerant of one another?

Or will nothing short of a gay VICTORY over straight culture be acceptable to you? If so, Ryan's "War Within" will be a war without end. And that WOULD be sad, indeed -- for all of us.
Grotesque to be sure , but a trifle juvenile !! Most people , do the bugger thing when in a corner.
My point, exactly.
Perhaps the only reason that they a making their private lives public, is because they are being denied the right to marry the one they love?

Maybe if the religious types would just let it go, it wouldn't be in their face anymore?
Thanks Josie , its an uphill battle . But one I can and will fight.
I think the title of this post says it well.
OMG a one liner. but then all your comments are one liners.
Ryan, this was your line. I accept gays w/ open arms. I see them no different than others. They are screwed up as much as anyone else in my opinion. You get good and bad people in any group. I dislike anyone who tries to push there agenda down my throat,(you might like it, haha) be it religion, politics or gay issues. I always get a kick out of seeing those flamboyant gays guys, i laugh my!@#$%off ever time and those parades are a gas. i have to thank you guys for crazy outfits. Do you dress like that all the time or just on special occasions?
Sometimes on Halloween we would dress up and go to the Masquerade Ball in S. F. Once I went as blue lion , and another time I went as a Prince , not a Princess mind you . Never in drag.
