Questions we have thought of but never asked anyone. Like, why do dogs pant?

When you perspire, drops of sweat evaporate from your skin. As the moisture escapes into the air, it cools you. As the dog pants, its breath blows away moisture from its mouth, nose, and lungs. I'm a lady, and I suffered every ditch and bump I ever hit on my bike! I just can't imagine how that must hurt a boy/man!!!
Yikes! I don't even want to think about it!
(I only know it must hurt a LOT-from watching them get kicked there on TV shows and in movies! ANYONE can understand that kind of pain, just by the look on their faces!); ▶ Reply to This
