Hi everyone, has anyone recently attended a networking event that they felt was really productive? How about a networking event that is coming up that you are excited about attending?
Hi Jaymie!
Yes! I am attending a networking event tonight at the Monday Club in SLO at 7pm. Call me if you'd like to network together or meet some other business people from the area.
I just posted a great item to the events calendar: http://www.centralcoasttoday.com/events/stress-less-holidays-a-fun
It's the December Women's Network of SLO luncheon. The women are all really nice and welcoming. The scheduled speaker is going to be great—she's so energetic and funny!
All females nees to go to Jacky's women's network Jan 15th check out her page
its listed some where on central coast toady. it's hot! and the networking is top notch.
I second Dianne's sentiments about attending Jacky's Central Coast Women's Network workshops and seminars. They are fun, productive and very informative.
I'd like to go to a networking event that wasn't recruiting or that was quiet and focused on business networking. I've been to a few lately that had live music and there was no possible way to discuss business without leaving the facility and walking around looking for a place to seriously talk. I don't mean any disrespect and maybe I'm too old but c'mon. How much "business" is done shouting in one's ear while leaning over so your plastic glass of free wine doesn't spill on them? There are Business networks that charge people to attend. There are business networks that are free but right in the middle of a busy day. I'd like an evening or weekend that was simple and direct. Even speed networking like a dating style and exchange of info.
Just my 2 cents.
