Commercial Video Production

For over 5 years Brian Owens Media has been serving the Central Coast as one of the premiere Commercial Producers & Videographers (DP). In that time as with many aspects of our company's work, our commercial production team under DP & Video Producer Brian Owens has earned a reputation for creating quality videos for television and the web. Our services are very affordable and have proven to serve our clients well. Ask any of our clients or the local cable providers and they will tell you that the quality of our work is unsurpassed by our local competitors.

In August, Brian Owens Media is offering a special rate for commercial productions. Rates on location: $100.00 per hour for HD filming (includes Brian as Director of Photography, a Key Grip/AC & a Sound Mixer/Boom); post production rates are $50.00 per hour for editing and basic graphics, or $75.00 per hour for extensive motion graphics or scoring. Most of the commercials listed on our blog cost our clients an average of $500.00 to $800.00 per spot for filming. These rates are the same rates or less the local TV stations & cable companies charge before airtime, with a higher production. In addition, we can work with you an the local advertisers to offer special rates. If you company is in need of a commercial, promotional video for the website or an infomercial then contact us to discuss you project personally.

This is blatant self-promotion, but it might actually be of some benefit to those of you who either have a business website, or are thinking of creating one, and want to do more with it.

I have spent the last year writing and re-writing and re-editing and re-agonizing over a relatively small eBook for small/medium sized businesses who either have or want to have a website. The eBook (about 50 pages) goes through the steps of establishing a domain name, finding a host, and developing a website based on the WordPress platform.

It's written for business owners who wish to take some control over the development and evolution of their own websites. It assumes a basic to moderate level of savvy about the web.

I'm still about a month away from my first publish date, but I wanted to bring it to the attention of folks here just in case there is some interest.

I will be selling this eBook (price is still undetermined) but would like to offer it to CCT members for a substantial discount (under $10). I'm doing this both to promote, and to give back a little to a community of many small businesses who may benefit from this information. I'm thinking I may also get some valuable feedback from you folks for future editions and a planned video-tutorial component.

Let me know what you think. Thanks.

Hi everyone!
We had a great turn out last night at The Marriott's for the business mixer! Over 20 people showed up. I was able to get 13 cards from everyone. I think we should order some appertizers, everyone was hungry, so maybe I'll see what's on their menu and we can have a kiddy for donations, what do you think?
Will plan on another one in May! Hope to see you there!
