The County of San Luis Obispo County planning department is trying to pass a new "Events Ordinance" that would virtually stop all Wedding's and Events on Ag Land! The vote will be held July 30, 2009 and if passed San Luis Obispo County will lose millions! Please visit www.eventsordinance.com

I set up a cupcake wedding cake tower on Saturday at a gorgeous outdoor wedding at The Flying Caballos, out by the airport. I had no idea it was there! Anyone have experience in using this facility or working with an event there? http://www.flyingcaballos.com/

Hi - In case anyone is interested, my family operates a ranch outside of SLO that is available for weddings and other events. It's called the "Holland Ranch" and is located on Carpenter Cyn. Rd. (Hwy 227) between SLO and AG. Many of you might know the place, it has 2 fairly prominent rock peaks that you can see from a ways away. Anyway, it is a beautiful spot to get married and we have a large barn with a stage, commercial kitchen and a private studio for the bridal party to get ready before the ceremony.
