I'm getting too many emails!
Don't panic. You have complete control. Go to Settings and click on the Email tab on the left side. Now you can check or uncheck notifications you want to receive or not receive, respectively. For example, if you do not want to automatically follow discussions that you comment on, just uncheck that box.

How do I Add a Friend?
You can ask anyone to be your friend. This will allow them to private message you and see any content you've marked as viewable by "Just My Friends." Click the Members tab and search for the person you want to add as your friend. Go to their profile by clicking on their name, and click the "Add as friend" link under the person's profile photo.

If I reject a friend request will the requester be notified?
No, if you reject a friend request the person who sent you the request will not be notified. You don't have to worry about hurting their feelings!

Why am I not able to able to ask more people to be my friends?
If you aren't able to ask them to be your friend, it's likely that you have too many outstanding friend requests. There's a limit of 100 at a time, to help control spamming. You'll have to withdraw some of your outstanding friend requests before you can invite new people to be your friends.

How do I withdraw a friend request?
Sometimes you need to withdraw a friend request. Here's how to do it: Click on "My Friends" in the Admin Box. Click on the "Requests Sent" tab in the Network Inbox. You will see a list of people you've sent friend requests to. Click the "Withdraw" button next to the person you no longer want to invite to be your friend. The friend request will no longer be active.

Can I control whether other people can see if I'm online?
No. If you are signed in, the "Online" information will appear next to your profile photo.

Someone is harrassing me and I want them to stop. What should I do?
The best thing to do is to block that person from contacting you. If you still have issues with their behavior, please contact us.

How do I block someone from sending me messages?
If you no longer want to receive messages from someone, you can block messages from them in a few simple steps. Click on the Inbox link in the right column. Find a message from the person you want to block and click on it. Underneath the message, click the "Block messages from this person" link. If you think you're being spammed, please contact us. Spamming is clearly against our terms of use and we take it very seriously.

Can I edit or delete a discussion I started?
You can definitely edit or delete a discussion you've started! Go to the discussion you would like to edit. Locate the "Admin Options" box on the right: If you want to edit the discussion you started, click "Edit Discussion." If you would like to delete the discussion and all replies to it, click the "Delete Discussion." To close the discussion to any new replies, click "Close Discussion."

Can I delete a reply I've made to a discussion?
Yes, you can delete your reply to a discussion at any time by clicking the "X" button next to the post you want to remove.

Can I delete someone else's reply to my discussion?
No, you can not delete any one else's reply to a discussion at any time. You can, however, remove other people's comments from your profile page, and comments to the photos and videos you post.

How do I add music to the music player on My Page?
There are a few ways to add music to your Profile Page:
1. Add music from your computer To add music from your computer, sign in to the network, go to the My Page tab and click the "Add Music" link at the bottom of the player. You can upload up to 100 total songs in the mp3 format. Each can be up to 20MB in size. To use the bulk uploader, simply drag the files from the column on the left into the preview pane on the right. Alternatively, you can click "Return to our simple uploader" to upload fewer files at a time.
2. Add music from another website. If you find a podcast or song that you like on another website, you can copy the URL (i.e. the web address) and post it to the music player on your profile page. Simply go to the "Add Music" page and click the "More Information" link at the bottom of the page. Then paste in the URL of the song or podcast you would like to add.
3. Add music from another page on the network. If you hear a song you like on another member's profile page, just click the "Add to My Page" link (if available), which shows at the top of the music player. That song will be automatically added to your page.

Can my music player start playing automatically?
Yes. Click "Edit" in the top right corner of the player and check the "Autoplay" checkbox. Click "Save" and your music player will now play automatically when people come to the page!
