I checked out the Craigslist site. Let me know when you get a website up. Are you meeting regularly?
I've done Mt. Whitney numerous times. The last was this past summer, and my knees are telling me that may have been the last. I didn't even put in for a permit this year.
That said, I hike over 1k miles per year, mostly locally, and am always willing to take folks with me that are capable of 10+ miles in the hills.
