Well, I did have a mentionable side-effect from the chemo, namely a rash and peeling skin (like sunburn) on the backs of my hands. For this, they recommended Benedryl, which worked to get rid of the itchy rash, but the peeling continued. The best thing I've found for this is applying Vitamin E oil (from capsules) several times a day. I think, though, that it just has to 'run it's course'. I had a follow-up visit with my Oncologist yesterday, before the chemo treatment. When I showed him my ha

OK, so I was up to the point that I was being scheduled for chemo-therapy.
During the previous week, Bill and I had heard about a Hydrogen Peroxide Treatment for cancer (and other ailments), and decided to try it. It consists of putting drops of 35% FOOD GRADE H2O2 (MUST be Food Grade - can't ingest the 3% 'topical' variety!). You start by drinking a 12oz glass of water (we're also using the 'alkaline' water from the Water Machine), with 12 drops of H2O2, 3 times a day. You gradually in…

Well, I was supposed to be keeping up my status, kind of like a journal. But I didn't. So I'll catch up now, up to seeing my Oncologist.
Jan 4th: I went to my new PCP, Dr. Raj, at the Nipomo CHC. Among other problems, I had a lump in my right breast. The only medical coverage I had was CMSP (County Med. Svcs Program), which does not cover mammograms or special lab services. So the CHC immediately signed me up for a special program under MediCal; 'CDP' (Cancer Detection Program), which w…

Practical Aromatherapy
How to dilute and use essential oils.
Aromatherapy enters the body in several ways. When inhales, essential oils pass directly from the lungs into the bloodstream. When absorbed through the skin in dilutions, aromatherapy oils enter the circulatory system. If you carefully follow the guidelines for diluting and suggested uses, you'll be amazed at the efficacy of these plant-based remedies.
Start Safely:
Essential oils must be diluted before application to the skin. Addin…

Upon hearing the news that I have Breast Cancer, Bill and I started looking for information. We found LOTS. It turns out that Breast Cancer is much more common than I thought - seems everyone has had, or knows someone who had it! So why don't we hear more about it? More about WHAT WORKS TO CURE IT? And there have been some really uncanny events and connections.
First, we live in a rural area in Nipomo. Next door lives a nice lady named Sally Mae, a breast cancer survivor who started an organiza…

OK, this is what has happened.
Last summer I started having some very weird symptoms. Increased heart rate, 'tachocardia', and an external 'flushing' sensation (intense heat, like when you take niacin) that started at my abdomen and spread to my chest. On a trip to LA on July 11th, I had a significant episode of these symptoms, so I had Bill drop me off at the Goleta Emergency Room. There, with the mere mention of 'chest', they immediately targeted 'heart attack', and did the appropriate tests…

This are trailers from The Beautiful Truth. This documentary follows the journey of Garrett Kroschel, an animal-loving teenager raised in Alaska. After reading a book by Dr. Max Gerson, Garrett is inspired to investigate its premise that diet can cure cancer and other diseases. Garrett travels across the country, visiting with physicians, scientists and cancer survivors to discuss Gerson Therapy -- and Gerson's claim that the medical industry has suppressed natural cancer cures for years.

The link between Mind and Social / Environmental-Issues.
The fast-paced, consumerist lifestyle of Industrial Society is causing exponential rise in psychological problems besides destroying the environment. All issues are interlinked. Our Minds cannot be peaceful when attention-spans are down to nanoseconds, microseconds and milliseconds. Our Minds cannot be peaceful if we destroy Nature.
Industrial Society Destroys Mind and Environment.
