Central Coast Today is launching a Membership Rewards Program that gives members the opportunity to earn points for their participation and activity on the website.

With Rewards Points you can show off your contribution level on your profile.

Rewards Program Terms & Conditions

By joining CentralCoastToday.com, you automatically agree to the following Terms and Conditions regarding the Membership Rewards Program:

Points have no monetary value. Points may not be transferred.

All members must adhere to CentralCoastToday's community guidelines (which are subject to change).

Central Coast Today reserves the right to review all member behavior and content submitted.

Central Coast Today reserves right to ban members who, in its judgment, do not meet behavior or etiquette guidelines outlined.

Central Coast Today reserves right to delete content and associated points for spam or inappropriateness. If this occurs you may also be penalized with further point loss depending on the offense.

You are allowed to have multiple profiles if desired, but you may not invite yourself to join to earn bonus points and “game” the system. If discovered, you may be banned. You may not spam the system simply to gain points. Points are meant to reward honest behavior. If we find you’ve posted content that is pointless, unrelated to the topic, offensive, or judged to be spam, it may be deleted which removes the points you earned for that action. If we find that you are abusing the system to gain points, we may ban you from Central Coast Today and you will not be eligible to redeem any points you have accumulated.

Content owners have the right to delete other members comments, which may effect your point totals.

Point totals may fluctuate from day to day, based on the content that is currently on the system

We are not responsible for any technical glitches which may cause a discrepency in your point totals.

The system calculates point totals on the fly, as your profile page is loaded. It is completely based up the system's calculation of your activity at that moment. We are not able to add or bonus anyone points for any reason at any time.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the company reserves the right to modify or terminate the Rewards Program at any time.

Whether or not you actively participate in Central Coast Today’s Rewards Program, you hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Central Coast Today, its subsidiaries, affiliates, successors and assigns and their respective officers, principals, employees, shareholders, consultants, directors and agents from and against any and all losses, liabilities, claims, damages, costs, penalties, fines, and expenses, including, without limitation, reasonable attorneys’ fees and any and all expenses reasonably incurred in investigating, preparing or defending any action, suit or proceeding, commenced or threatened and for consultants and advisors regarding preservation of value of points and redemptions.

Inviting others to join is a rapid way to accumulate reward points. Not only from invitees that join, but you also benefit from their activity. But remember, to receive the reward points for inviting others that join, you must invite them though our site's Invite page so we can track that.
